I'm Marcos Figueiredo (aka Velckro), a designer and art director with an extensive background in visual communication projects for national and international brands. My work spans brand identity, creative direction, campaigns and full graphic system development, with a strong focus on consistency across physical and digital environments. When I'm not designing, I run BRRRRRAP™, an electronic music party in Madrid.
I've built my career at agencies such as Ogilvy, VMLY&R, DoubleYou and The Summer Agency, working for brands including Jägermeister, ASOS, Adobe, Microsoft, Red Bull, Barceló, Movistar, Mini and Pepe Jeans, among others. My work has been featured in publications such as It's Nice That, Computer Arts, Juxtapoz and Étapes, and I've served on design juries at the Premios LAUS and the Club de Creativos.
Currently, I work as Creative Supervisor at Bombyte and as a Branding lecturer at U-TAD, Madrid. Alongside my professional practice, I've also taught at Miami Ad School and IED, and lectured under my pseudonym Velckro at events including Creative Mornings and the Club de Creativos.
